The problem is simple. Everyone tells you how to do it. Follow these rules and you’ll “succeed” How to, how to, how to etc. The socials are stuffed to the gills with examples getting 1000’s of likes. Galleries display “old masters” that are meant to inspire, but in truth they’re more likely to intimidate. But in the middle of all of this there’s you, and you’re way of seeing the world is unique. You want to create something and possibly call it art, but all this stuff is complicating everything. If you don’t meet all this criteria of doing it in a specific way and to a certain standard, you will FAIL!

There it is, that word. But what if all the obstacles were removed? The need to comply and meet the standards of others was no longer there. Would you still “FAIL”?
